If you have 64bit Windows system, install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable package - 64bit version.
If that does not fix the problem, install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable package - x86 version.
This should solve problem.

m still stuck to the prblm...
it works but when i restart the laptop...it again shows that mfc100u.dll file is missing.....n in evry restart a blue screen appears n it says 'start up' error....HELP ME
Thank you very much for your timely help. I encountered missing mfc100u.dll for running OmniPage on Win 8 64 bit. Windows trouble shooting did not help as usual it is for most problems. A site offered an exe file to fix this and many other .dll errors. I tried, it reported as it could not fix the problem. Another suggestion was to download mfc100u.dll and put it in several folders. I tried, it did not work as .dll was reported as incompatible to this windows. Then, I carried out your first suggested C++ upgrade. It did not work. Finally, your second upgrade suggested worked like magic! I felt a lot of relief. Hence, this detailed post to emphasize the usefulness of your excellent guidance.
